Sara Bove has been a financial professional at Equitable since October 2022. She is passionate about supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, and works to understand her clients’ unique financial goals before developing customized strategies to achieve these goals.
As part of Equitable’s Retirement Benefits Group, Sara works primarily with educators and their families. She collaborates with a team of senior advisors including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals, retirement planning specialists, and life insurance specialists to best meet clients’ needs in wealth accumulation, retirement planning, tax reduction strategies, and family protection. Sara currently maintains the following licenses/certifications: FINRA Series 6, SIE, NASAA Series 63, Health, Life and Variable Lines in Maryland and several other states.
Prior to her position with Equitable, Sara was a high school teacher for 12 years in Howard County, MD. She understands the unique challenges and opportunities many school-system employees face and is committed to supporting this community of leaders with their financial goals.
Sara obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature as well as a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Maryland – College Park. While in school, Sara also studied Business and Finance through the Robert H. Smith School of Business and was a member of the College Park Scholars Program – Public Leadership.
Currently, Sara resides in Baltimore City and enjoys exploring local breweries, hiking National Parks, visiting countries around the world, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
