John T. Rohe III (JT)
Regional Vice President, Retirement Planning Specialist
John is a Regional Vice President of Equitable Advisors in Columbia, Maryland. His consulting focus is on comprehensive retirement and wealth planning. He works with a wide range of clients but has built a practice that mainly consists of corporate management, Government Contractors and Employees, attorneys, directors & executives, and oil industry professionals.
In 2019, John took on the role of managing, training, and coaching a group of developing associate advisors with the firm.
In 2022, John obtained his Retirement Income Planning certificate from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
John obtained college degrees in both Economics and Finance from St. Mary’s College in 2013. He is extremely active in the community as he has served on the board of directors of the Howard County Maryland Chamber of Commerce, a position that he has held since 2015 and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Maryland Finest Committee. In his time away from the firm, he can be found spending time with his wife and family. He is an avid fitness enthusiast, running and biking in long distance races and skiing the Rocky Mountains on an annual basis.
